Hi,

I hope I'm posting this in the right place.
I am making a video editing build; however, I am stuck when it comes to the right choices for the power supply, case and possibly cpu cooler.

Here is my build:
PCPartPicker part list: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/vZcXgs

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor (£275.99 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£120.99 @ Ebuyer)
Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury White 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory (£55.70 @ Ebuyer)
Storage: Hynix 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (£45.98) [manual input not on partpicker]
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£74.99 @ Novatech)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960 4GB Video Card (£163.32 @ Aria PC)
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case (£50.00)
Power Supply: Silverstone Strider Gold 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (£88.40 @ More Computers)
Monitor: Acer K242HL Bbid 60Hz 24.0" Monitor (£82.98)
Total: £958.35

The whole build says its at around 326W. I don't know what to do with that info, should I double the amount of power supplied, 50% more, less?
Are there any good power supplies for around £40-£50 (or less)?

Also, I know the case is up to me and it is mainly an asthetic choice, but could anyone recommend a good case as well?

And finally, with this build would I need an additional CPU cooler?
I found this one:
The Cryorig H5 CPU Cooler
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/cryorig-cpu-cooler-h5universal

Is this what I should be looking for or are there some better alternatives, or do I not need one at all?

Thank you in advance and any suggestions will be very much welcomed.

here you go mate!
I went with the newer skylake platform because of the better perf (although that isnt much of a reason because its only a 5% bump over haswell), and because of the upgradebility to the next gen on the z170 platform.
I threw in a cooler for some OC, just to get the perf out of the K in the processor.
same tier MoBo from asus, great as always.
I just like hyperX ram, and it has great quality with great looks, at a great price. 16GB is enough, with room for 32 in the future.
idk about that hynix drive, but I put a quality crucial one in there, with the same 3TB drive.
the 960 is a good enough card for this system, so I kept it, but I went with the EVGA version just so it can be black and white and stay sexy with that windowed case.
speaking of, I went with the define r5 because I regard it as one of the best cases for silence, which I know video editors need, while still being sexy as hell.
seasonic is probably the best company for PSUs, so I went with that.
AOC is pretty good, you can take whatever you like.

I hope this helped you!

Thank you so much for the help, the build looks great.
Two questions:
1) With the build saying around 300-320W what size power supply do you need, how does it work??
2) The processor comes with it's own cooling fan, I've read about people discarding them and buying a better fan, is that advisable? Could I keep the original? Or both?

Thank you.
