Oh yeah, I realize that the silicon lottery is very much a thing. So overclocking potential will vary by card. But I figured that factory overclocked cards would be guaranteed to run at their advertised speeds, and that silicon quality would only come into play if you wanted to overclock further. Maybe I was wrong.
That being said, most of what I've read about ASIC quality seems to be speculation and anecdotal evidence. Don't think I've ever seen anything that could be considered empirical evidence showing ASIC quality (as reported by something like GPU-Z) determining overclocking and/or overall chip performance.

I was running this card at -90Mhz ECO mode, i was afraid of power problems. But now i have it on OC mode it can go up to 1300 MHZ and the Gtexels go up to 210 p/s and 122.0 Gpixel/s. I don't want to go higher without liquid cooling. But Now i know it's all good i run it at 1350 Mhz, getting alot more FPS. So happy with this card
What kind of temperatures are you seeing with that overclock?
