blu ray DLNA to my laptop

I have had for the past 7 years+ a blu ray player with DLNA that recognizes my Win XP laptop over the network. LG BD570
All I ever had to do was pick a folder on my laptop and change the sharing permissions.
Right click folder, Sharing Tab, checkbox Share this folder on the network.

I now have a Win 10 laptop and I'd like to do the same, but can't figure out how.

I'd also like to check out new blu ray players with the same funcionality and ease.

I'm hesitant to loose this function and fear I'm stuck with a player on it's last legs and a XP laptop of the same.

Hints? Suggestions?

I tried this. It's not working properly. I'm wondering if my XP being connected is inhibiting 10 from the DLNA server setup.
