cant run gta v all the sudden please help

so gta v stopped working all the sudden when I start it up my cpu maxes it self out and freezes my pc so I managed to get into task manager and service host is using about 20% gtav 50% and gtav launcher 25% so I closed the launcher and then like five different service hosts popped up and kept my cpu maxed out when I ended gat v all service hosts went away and cpu was back at 0-1% please help

if it is freezing its not always do to the cpu being maxed how old is the pc it could be over heating.

Well it doesn't completely freeze but it slows down so much that basically is and it's only 10 months old and I monitoring my temps and there good

Did you just build it any cover clocking ot anything. Try runing a memory test also. I had this problem on a old pc i built and it turnd out my mobo was bad and my ram was fride form the bad mobo

is it just gta v that does this it looks like alot of people have this problem it could be the game. are all your drivers up todate

That's alright lol. So I ran a memory test and everything was fine and cpu is still stock haven't done anything to it yet. I also just moved cases but this problem happened before that. My gpu drivers are up to date I don't know about my mobo.

What version of the game do you have ? If its the Steam version try Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity, to rule out a bad updated download.

I tried it didn't . I bought it from g2a for the social club. I tried some other games and they work fine but they are not as intensive as gta v

well you could try running a stress test and see if it freezes your pc if it does not freeze it is the game. if it freezes then something is not stable in you system. if it is the game try reinstalling it. if it is the pc well let us know lol
