Hello. I have looked all over the net including here but cannot find anything about the problem I am having, everywhere this sleeved kit is sold including corsairs website says that it is compatible with the PSU listed below .

Corsair PSU Compatibility:
AXI Series – 1500/1200/860/760.
AX Series – 860/760.
HX Series – 1050/850/750/650 .
HXi Series – 1200/1000/850/750 .
TXM Series – 850/750/650/550.
CXM Series – 750/600/500/430.
CSM Series – 850/750/650/550/450.
RM Series – 1000/850/750/650/550/450.

And I have even read reviews and they have used this kit on the RM 850 and had no problems but where I am concerned is that the peripheral and sata plugs housing that goes in the power supply both have a 6 pin housing and they both only have four wires in the housing but when looking at them it is obvious that the wires go to different slots in the plastic housing plug and I am afraid to plug them in even though every place that sells them says that they work with all that I have listed above and reviews saying that they fit and work flawlessly with the RM 850 I just am not sure if the PSU electronically knows what wires are where, or if out of the 6 slots there are some of the same positive negative and ground and so on. I would be very appreciative for any help.
Thanks in advance... Brian.

Hi Friend, the PSU doesnt require a pin for each housing connector...it all depends on how the cable was made.

If Corsair (and folks who have purchased them) say theyre compatible, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm using braided lines from Corsair and havent had any issues. Congrats on the new cables!
