Port Forwarding BT Home Hub 5A

Hello network gurus!
I've never been great with this type of thing and its frustrating me already!!

Heres a rundown of whats been happening...
I want to run a teamspeak server with my friends, to do this however i have to port forward.
I Go to my hub settings (BT HOMEHUB 5A) 192.etc.
I sign in admin and click advanced settings, however when i click firewall, my router messes up flashes orange and i get a chrome error saying ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED Or other similar errors.

Any help would be so appreciated as i've been trying to do this for months and months now.

Have you tried Powering off the Hub for minute then starting it up and trying again?

Far from a genuine fix but a router is like a computer in that in runs software that can glitch and therefore the only way to cure the glitch is to restart it and clear the memory.

Not trying to reboot, just straight up refusing connection

have you tried with a different browser see if you get a different or more helpful error message. Also try disabling any security software you have enabled

Sounds like you are pretty close to a broken device but you might as well try all the extreme options before you toss it. Try a factory reset and see if that clears it. If you can get in far enough you can also try load a newer firmware version if it exists.

In IE i got "The page cannot be displayed"

not using any powerline adapters in the house are you the ones that use your plug sockets to connect to upstairs rooms etc?

Yes some in the house but none connected to my computer that im attempting to port forward on!

Just try disconnecting / unplugging them both then reboot your router and then reboot your PC. Then try again for hub settings

Can you post the results of Ipconfig /all when typed at the command prompt
