Nvidia GeForce Gpu not working

Okay so first of all i am using a laptop
here are the specs:
i7-4510U
8 gb ram
Gtx 820m
1tb

the thing is ofc i have intel integrated graphics family and my 820m, what i used to do is open the nvidia control panel and make it so its only the 820m thats rendering and basically working right now i dont know what happened but the Gpu driver isnt working,

Now i tried
1-)restarting
2-)updating the drivers
3-)Uninstalling it and then clicking Scan for hardware changes then it just installed it again with the same problem

I have no clue on what to do. Thanks!

Try downloading and using DDU http://www.guru3d.com/files-get/display-driver-uninstaller-download,20.html select the uninstall all and restart. After it restarts trying downloading GeForce Experience from Nvidia so you can redownload your drivers.

Is your BIOS updated to the latest version? You may have to look up how to do this for your board. It shouldn't be too difficult if you learn how to do it.

I got my mobo model which is X550LD its version is 306 and the latest is 307
so i went on and searched and found this https://www.asus.com/Notebooks/X550LD/HelpDesk_Download/
which has the bios update for 307 but when i download it its not a .exe file its X550LD.307, what do i do now? i cant find anything on how to update my bios

well i updated my bios to the latest version, but still have got the same problem :/

Boot into safe mode to see if that solves your problem. But since it is a laptop, its starting to sound like its a defective part.

Yeah it works in safemode does that mean it's like a virus or somethin

It means some sort of driver is defecting your GPU. I don't know what other driver would interfere with your GPU besides nvidia,but you have already reinstalled it. Try running ddu and restart and don't reinstall drivers

when i ran ddu and restarted i just didnt have the drivers so it was like not even having the gtx 820m

yeah after i restarted, but before i did i checked the device manager to see if the error was there but obv the driver itself wasnt there then after i downloaded Geforce craperience back and installed the drivers, then i checked the device manager again and then it was there with the same error

And what exactly is the problem to not have any nvidia drivers? Does it not function at all?

So in games you loose performance? Try downloading really old drivers from nvidia.com

downloaded a driver from http://www.geforce.co.uk/drivers which was the oldest one from Oct 07.2015 and then when installing i chose clean install with Driver and Physx Only checked and i unchecked the Geforce Experience, but it still doesn't work :/

Try wiping everything from nvidia on ddu. Not just drivers and phyx.

I did wipe everything, what i said is that when i installed it again after thats what i checked to INstall, but every time i used ddu i wiped everything from nvidia

Try creating a new Windows User account and try using that.

Try uninstalling drivers, run a performance test, like heaven benchmark. Boot into safe mode and run the same test and at the same settings. Post your frames/score here.

but i have battlefield 4 so when i play it with the intel graphics without the safemode i get like avg 13 fps without the drivers, but when i go into safemode with drivers installed and the gpu working and then i tried opening battlefield 4 and clicked on campaign and started, it just was loading like 0.5 fps, which doesnt make any sense

I dont know in battlefield 4 i downloaded it after the thingy happened, but in minecraft i used to get 80-115 now i get 40-55

I would just flat tell you the card is dead, but it works in safe mode, atleast what it can without drivers. Try downloading Afterburner and tell me what Grahpics card is running and taking the loads. Intel/Nvidia
