GTX 970 Crashing? Random colored screens + PC restarts

Whenever I'm playing games my computer will turn both screens grey and pink or something and then shut off. I've updated drivers, checked temperatures, tried underclocking slightly and everything that i could possibly think of to get it back to working. It usually happens 5-10 minutes into playing games. Thanks for any help in advance!

It sounds like your GPU is defective and producing artifacts. Try reinstalling GPU drivers and using on-board graphics. If that fixes your issue, RMA your graphics card.

psu is not much than 3 months or so old. I just built a new pc wit hthe same psu i had been using, and it wasnt happening before.

well its a few years old. So i guess it could be becoming defective. I'll try that and see. Thanks!
