I have recently purchased some new parts for my pc.
New Parts: Intel I5 6600k, Asus h170 pro gaming motherboard, g.skill ripjaws 4 2133mhz ddr4 8gb 2 4gb sticks, antec 302 case, corsair h60 liquid cooler, evga 750 watt 80+bronze power supply.
I kept my r9 280x and my 2 hard drives to put in this computer.
I put all the parts together but when i plug in the power the motherboard leds come on but when i press the power button nothing happens. My brother suggested taking out a stick of ram and trying it in different slots but that didnt help at all i also had him check to see if everything was plugged in correctly and he said it was. Now i dont know a whole lot about computers so i was wondering if someone could help me figure out my problem. Thank you for your time.
