best memory ddr3?

Solution
DRAM can play in and provide increasing of 10% or more in FPS, but a lot depends on the individual game, i.e. Fallout 4 has shown good gains from faster DRAM. Also many don't notice, but the faster sticks tend to improve your average FPS also. Game developers are utilizing DRAM more and more so we can prob expect to see more increases as the newer games come out

With a 4790K, I'd look to 2133/2400 for the best bang for the buck, on Haswell, I lean towards Trident X, Ripjaws X and the Sniper lines of DRAM

You usually don't need higher than 1600Mhz. The newest generation is DDR4 too, so if you're getting a new system, make sure it's the right RAM. You could get 1866Mhz, but I don't know why you'd need higher Mhz.

You won't notice anything by upgrading your RAM Mhz. It's negligible.
Corsair, G.Skill and Kingston are 3 of the best RAM brands.
Many of them just attach extra names to their sticks, such as "Hyper X Fury", blabla.
You'll hardly see any FPS improvement. If you want more FPS, upgrade your CPU and/or GPU.

yea i have a i7 4790k and gtx 980ti sc at 1429 mhz i just dont understand one thing..when i play gta 5 more than a few times while driving around at max settings, even on everything very high and textures only at high, i will dip to 35-45 for few seconds. i assume this is the game and not a faulty piece of hardware because nothing is overheating or exceeding usage %
