quick question about nvidia gpu

when i turn the switch for shadowplay on, my core clock goes up to 1100 and memory goes up to 3500..is this normal? nvidia seems to think that this isnt normal, and evga says it is..again, that is the switch for shadowplay, not actually recording. thanks

Hello... There are typically 3 Power modes programed in a GPU... 1100/3500 would be the highest level (gaming).

use GPU-Z and you can chart what your GPU is doing during different programs.

Hello... it is a VERY small APP that is commonly used around here for monitoring GPU everything from it... Yes if you are in any Gaming mode/APP your GPU will switch to LEVEL 3, of your GPU, and firmware Programmed Speeds.
