So i recently build my new PC and it seems that i damaged my motherboard.
The motherboard is the MSI Z170A gaming M5 and the damage is located at the holes that are for the screws that are holding the backplate of my water cooler which is nepton 240m.
I tried to follow the guides and not put the screws too tight.
The problem is that after i removed it i saw this

How bad is it ?
I boot it up and it works , it logs me in the windows but maybe there is something i'm missing

Solution
The damage is most likely only superficial. If it was substantial and damaged something deeper, then most of the time the motherboard won't work. If everything works as it should in the first hour or so, then you'll be safe.
