So, i bought this sound card, C-Media CMI8738 6 Channel PCI Sound Audio Card, it came in a green box. It says its supported for "DOs, Windows 95,97, 2000 and me" I have been looking online for the drivers for windows 10, however i cant find any, and the disk that was provided with the audio card does not have the drivers. When i tried using the windows automatic install for drivers it could not find any drivers. So please help me out guys!

Oh, the first thing I would do since I'm now aware of this new information would be to take the sound card out and go into your BIOS setup and make sure that the port on your motherboard is enabled. Once you find the brand and model number of your motherboard, you should be able to look up a manual that will show you how to operate and change BIOS options.

It may be as simple as the port is disabled because you inserted a card that the BIOS thought would do a better job of providing that port. However, I don't see any Windows 10 support for it.

Sorry, I thought you were looking for a sound card to have exceptional sound, I didn't realize you were just trying to be able to have audio in the first place. My bad.
This card doesn't appear to have support for Windows 10 and I doubt the drivers are within the Windows update databases because the card is so old. If you have a PCI Express (PICe) slot on your motherboard and an extra four pin molex connector on your power supply, then I would recommend the PowerColer Devil HDX http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829834001&cm_re=powercolor_devil_hdx-_-29-834-001-_-Product ... I'm aware it may be a bit pricey but in my experience it competes well with cards in the $200-$300 price range and it's only $150.
