The SuperNOVA B2 750W is priced really well after rebate. It's one of the higher wattage, quality units that are pretty affordable in Canada. You're looking more like $100 CAD for the SuperNOVA GS ~550W although a marginally better PSU - the B2 is still quality, and one of the cheaper ones available.

Where about in Canada are you? if you're West and near Winnepeg/Calgary/Edmonton/Vancouver, then you can check out MemoryExpress (you can check them out online anyway), they 'price beat' any Canadian retailer or etailer too (only by 10% of the difference, but on a budget, that certainly helps).

The R9 390 is very much comparable with the 970 - graphic support was lacking for a while, but AMD have fixed that. The increased VRAM will allow you higher resolutions a bit better too.

The case you picked is ok. Most cases from reputable manufacturers will work just fine - the only reason I had to change out the case is because the 390 wouldn't fit in the N21.
