I am encountering Windows Boot Manager with one option i.e., Windows 7 Ultimate, however I have only one OS installed. I did a clean re-install of OS by formatting all the drives. No result. I installed and used Easy BCD but there is only one OS in Edit Boot Menu. Hence no question of deleting the ghost OS entry. Skipping the boot menu makes a contuous beep sound in next boot until it boots into Windows. Same result if I reduce the countdown to 0(zero). BCD recreate or repair gives no result. I am at my wits end. Any suggestion would be of great help.

Solution
I have finally solved the problem I posted above. The problem was not software-related. It was the laptop's keypad. Some key might have got stuck. I removed the keypad, plugged in a USB keyboard and booted the laptop. It boot correctly without the Windows Boot Manager.

I am talking about any ghost entry that would show up in the Edit Boot menu of Easy BCD. One forum somewhere talked about deleting the ghost entry in case it existed.
How can I solve this problem. please advice.
Thanks.
