How to delete everything from a hard drive?

i have an old computer that i want to fresh install everything on, so im wondering how i can delete everything off of the hard drive so it would be like a brand new computer. i would be installing windows 10 again. thanks for the help!

Where you are reformatting for your own use and don't need secure-erase scenarios, just install windows10 and the partition manager will allow you to reformat the drive.

Yes. Part of the installation procedure will allow you to format the hard drive. Just do it then.

If it's just system drive you can "Kill" all the partitions on the disk during windows installation and let windows make partitions needed. That way you'll have a real clean start. Otherwise you can and up with some useless partitions.
