cpu: phenom 2 940
mobo: asus m3a32 delux wifi
last mobo bios

using manual set, the cpu fan stay in 4000 rpm, but a lot of noise.
if set auto, cpu fan stay 1900~3000 whitout noise, but high cpu temp and games giving small braked, which do not happen with the cooler in manual.

only option that can help is the profile of fan which is already in performance and without changes from others
how do I fix it?
maybe any program that can set the speed in windows?
i try all options in speed fan, but speed hasn't changed, i think that isnt compatible

Solution
I assume your fan is 4 pin pwm?

1900-3000 RPM is very high for a CPU fan. Those heatsinks that I recommended will cool much better at an equal RPM (and be quieter) than the Hyper TX2. I suspect your RPM values are incorrect though. I think those Nocutua heatsink fans are limited to 1500 RPM. The TX2 maximum fan speed is 1800 RPM. I pulling up your MB manual now -yes, it's a 4 pin CPU header.
Ahhh...I think I found the problem. The TX2 comes with a 3 pin fan. You need a 4 pin fan.

8gb ram
cpu fan hyper tx2
case cm 690 4x fan 120mm 2x fan 140mm
corsair 650w
vga hd6850

all default clock

Your case cooling must be good with all those fans, but I think you must not be getting very good CPU cooling with the Hyper TX2. Consider upgrading to a Noctua D15 or C14, Cryorig R1 Ultimate. Make sure the cooler comes with the correct attachment for your MB.

thanks for the reply, but I will not invest more on that computer, I'll wait, maybe someone knows a way to control the fan by software.

and exchanging it does not guarantee that solve the problem of MoBo let the CPU get hot.
