Hello
I purchased a Samsung 850 EVO SSD 250GB
It always bsods, It even bsod on Windows Installation
I have fresh installed Windows 10 on it

Also I never got any problems with my system before or when I had installed windows on my HDD or my previous SSD.

My system specs are these:
Motherboard: MSI X58A-GD65
RAM: OCZ 1600 Mhhz 8-8-8-24 3x2GB
CPU: Intel Core i7 920

Rapid mode is disabled.

Thanks

Solution
Well my motherboard's latest BIOS update is at 2011-03-21 which does not support newer technologies such as SSDs
I think my problem will be solved with a SATA 3 PCI Card
Hey there, mariosx.

@SR-71 Blackbird has a pretty valid question there, so it would be nice to find out what's the exact error.
Other than that what you could try is to test it with a different SATA port and different SATA cables, to see if the same issue occurs. It would be even better if you could try it as a secondary storage drive with a different computer. This way you might be able to test it with a diagnostic tool, to see if any errors or bad sectors pop-up. You could also try updating/resetting your BIOS/UEFI, to see if that fixes things up.

Hope that helps. Please keep us updated.

Some BSODS are these:
ATTEMPTED WRITE TO READONLY MEMORY
IRQL Not Less or Equal

I'll try a different SATA port and cable when I have the time but I do not think that's my problem. Both the cable and port were working fine but I can never be 100% sure

Also there will not be any BIOS updates for my motherboard.
It really is old and technology has moved on.
Maybe my motherboard is not compatible with this SSD

It is indeed quite possible for some sort of incompatibility issue to be causing this problem. You could contact either the SSD manufacturer's customer support, or the mobo's CS and ask about that.
However in my opinion you should really try the SSD with a different computer if possible to see if you'll get the same result.
As for the BIOS/UEFI update, even if there might not be any recent updates, you could still check just for the sake of it if yours is up to date.
