Computer can't find my Wifi but others can

Ok so my router wasn't working so i called my ISP and they reset so the SSID was changed and suddenly on my computer isn't detecting my home WiFi but others in my house can find my home WiFi wheras I can only find my neighbours WiFi. I would be extremely grateful if this problem gets solved, thank you.

OS : Win8.1 64 bit

1)windows search "device manager" and open
2)pull down tab "network adapters"
3)right click all adapters under the "network adapters" tab & uninstall
4)restart computer & they will fresh install themselves
5)try again

Please make sure that when you setup your router again you didn't put it in the 5Gz mode and that your PC's wireless card can only see 2.4Gz networks. Hence you would see you neighbors but not yours because its running a system that only newer devices are capable of seeing / using

Solved it was something to do with the channel in my modem I had to call microsoft to see if they could help and they changed the channel for me.
