I have a lenovo y510p. In order to use this external GPU part - here
I need to have a pci slot. I have one but it is occupied by a wifi chip. My next route would be to take out my extra gpu since I have a ultrabay. and find some sort of hookup that matches. I'm unfamiliar with what type it is... see pic here

What I'm trying to do is simply hook up an external gpu to my laptop... which is lagging behind in graphics and I do not want to buy a new computer.

Solution
It is a mini-pci-e connector. Pretty much only place on laptop that uses it is the possible wifi card.
Googling on the laptop type tells that it wont have mini-pci-e connectors at all and lenovo uses it's own ultrabay slots which are pci-e 3.0 compatible, just custom connector.
They discuss it here:

Downside, needs custom diy connector, need you to flash it with custom bios
