My Computer Keeps Crashing to Desktop after 15 minutes of playing a game

When I'm playing games (Starcraft 2, Heroes of the Storm, The Division, Call of Duty BLOPS 3) my computer will crash to the desktop after about 10 minutes of play. I'm able to hop right back in and play again, it goes for 10 minutes, and then crashes out again. The error is typically that the game has "stopped responding". Tonight it made my PC restart (Rise of Tomb Raider).

Here is a link to my build:

I have a 860W PSU so that shouldn't be the problem. I have a MSI 980 TI. I'm able to play on Ultra graphics with 100+ FPS so my game experience is awesome until the crash happens. My temps have topped out at about 80 degrees C while under a load.

Is it a bad graphics card? How can I test this? I'd like to get through RMA process if necessary before my Rift arrives in a few weeks!

For more context here is my 3dMark score from tonight:

  1. First thing you want to do is rule out software issues. Best way is to get a spare hard drive, install Windows clean on that, clean driver setup, test the games. If they crash then, it's pretty much guaranteed to be a hardware issue, then you need to test parts in a working system or swap out parts in yours to see what works and what does not.

If you are overclocking anything, set it to defaults when testing.
  2. I stopped overclocking my CPU (was at 18%) and it solved the problem entirely.
