I want to run a Plex server that can stream to 4-6 clients at the same time, all transcoding over the internet. What hardware do I need?
This fits inside my budget:
CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1220v5 3,0GHz Socket 1151
RAM: Crucial DDR4 PC17000/2133MHz ECC CL15 2x8GB
MB: Gigabyte GA-X150M-Pro ECC
Case: ~$100
PSU: ~$60
HDD: 2x WD Red 3TD (more in the future)
M.2 for OS: have not found
Total: ~$1000
Will this do?
Also, is 100/100 fiber enough bandwidth, or do I need 250/250?
