Does SSD trim same and good as secure erase ?

I have Samsung SSD 850 evo and it has a lot of writes on it now I want to backup an image of windows 10 to the drive using macrium reflect my question does windows trim for SSD will fix all the damage done from too many writes or secure erase is better ? Also how many days it will took TRIM to fix the SSD fro all the many writes ?

I mean that So no need for secure erase before restore a windows 10 image backup even if the drive was filled with a lot lot of data ? or secure erase will be better to get back the speed and performance ?
