I have A8 6600K with R7250X and HMS 530W power supply. Computer has been working fine for over a year now and i decided to overclock my CPU to 4.2ghz using Overdrive ( just setting the multiplier from 39x to 42x) and after some time the PC started shuting down randomly. Started happening more often to the point where it shuts down immediately after windows loads. I RMA'd the power supply, picked up the old 300w from the closet and used my pc with integrated graphics just fine ( because i couldnt connect my external one, it needed 360w minimum with external gpu).
And now i got my new power supply, installed it in the case, connected the external gpu and the same problem happens again. My cpu is now running at clock speeds, everything is at default settings in bios but it shuts down after desktop finishes loading the icons and all that.

I am using the integrated gpu right now as i am writing this and the computer works with no problems at all, but if i connect my r7 it cant work. And no its not the low voltage of the power supply, because it worked with the same power supply for over a year just fine. :??:

Quick update, i have just connected the other gpu ( GT 9600 ) and the computer is working normally, but if i connect my R7 250X it shuts down.
Maybe its the faulty drivers because i downloaded them from the amd app

HMS-P-460, i really dont think the power supply is the problem. I just got a brand new one today and its making the same problem as the last one. Right now there is GT 9600 is the computer which draws like 10w less than a r7 250x and its working fine. I will reinstall the drivers, delete the system and try again.
