Instead of normal push/pull configs i was wondering if i could do sort of a push/push config with the EK-XLC Predator 240 and my case Define R5. If i mount the radiator to the front, the case fans in the front (140mm) will be pushing air thru the two Vardar fans (120mm) to the radiator. Is there an actual downside to this? I've never heard of a push/push config. Thanks.

Also worth noting, i was thinking about mounting it to the top of the case but there is no dust filters on the top and i couldn't really find any from where i live.

Solution
You can either flip the fans over were they are, or move them to the other side (and flip them).
AIOs fans can be removed and swapped out, rotated, etc.
If you want to keep it at the front you can just take out the 140mm fans.
I remember someone brought up layering fans before, and I cant say its a good idea.
Theres no real benefit from it, all you would be doing is blocking airflow.

If you wanted to mount it at the top, you can always mount it as an exhaust. Temps wont suffer more than a few C at most.

Its an AIO not sure if i can mount it as an exhaust. I guess you could switch the fans around but im not sure if that would work. I'd like to mount it at the front. What if i leave the 140mm fans out? Will 2 120mm fans be enough for front intake? Wont the air be heated as it passes thru the radiator.

So only having 2x 120mm fans as intake fans is enough?? Especially when its pushing air thru the radiator, seems kind of weird to me mate. Thanks for the answers tho.
