Hello all,
I have a laptop about 3 years old. It has an AMD A6-4400 processor and a 7650G graphics card. Thing is pretty slow until i overclock it but I cannot game on it like i used to. I don't want to get rid of it because it was a graduation gift from my mother but I see that some people are able to connect a desktop graphics card to the laptops. I also noticed whenever they do this it is mainly connecting the graphics card to an external monitor. I want to know if there is any way to do this only using my laptop monitor instead. If at all possible I would also like to know what graphics card i can buy that will play almost all games ( preferably medium setting) but at this point I want to just prolong the life of this computer. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you all.

Well if that is the case then i guess i should look into selling it then sadly. I appreciate the input and time you took out to answer my question though. I was really hoping to keep this laptop.
