So I'm in the process of finishing my new computer, all I need to do is make my SSD the primary boot drive but every time I plug in the power cable for the SSD from the power supply I get a message from my monitor saying "reboot and select proper boot drive or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" I've disabled UFEI and changed it to disabled for the primary boot option but I can't choose any other option besides enable UFEI or disable it plz help

Hey there, DrasticAura.

You could try resetting or updating the BIOS/UEFI as well. This sometimes fixes things up if there's some sort of incompatibility issue. And while we're on that subject, you should check if the SSD has a firmware update available as well. If it does, you can connect it to a different computer and update its firmware. It wouldn't hurt to test it with an SSD diagnostic tool, just to be on the safe side, while you have it connected to a different computer.
If you don't have the option to try it out with a different system, you should at least try it with a different SATA port and different SATA cables on yours, to see if anything changes.

Please let me know how it goes.
