Difference between GTX 980Ti LE and other gtx 980Ti's?

I'm currently thinking about making a jump to a GTX 980Ti. Looking at the MSI GeForce GTX 980TI GAMING 6G LE on Newegg. Right now it's the cheapest 980Ti available. I'm wondering if it measures up to more expensive cards in terms of overclocking? I really would like a good overclocker between 1450-1500mhz max.

Based on what i have researched, the 980Ti LE is not as good at overclocking compared to a normal 980Ti as the cores for a 980Ti is higher binned. The LEs are not stable when overclocked.

Pretty sure the LE is just clocked lower out of the box. But in the case that it is actually a worse overclocker, the Gigabyte windforce card is typically a pretty good deal, or one of the EVGA models.
