Fractal Design Define Nano S AIO Hose Clearance?

I'm putting together my next personal build and have picked the Fractal Design Define Nano S (that's a mouthful). I am getting the windowed version and an AIO, so I don't have to think about RAM/VRM clearance for a heatsink.

My only worry is if the hose will press against the side panel, as I have my eye on one of the Corsair GT AIOs. Even in my current ATX build, when I had my H110 GTX mounted in the front, the hose were making the panel flex.

If that line of AIOs won't work, is there an NZXT product that could work? My requirements/preferences are white LED on the pump and a somewhat rigid hose. I'll be using it on a LG 1151 socket.

Thanks!

That sounds like you're planning to mount the radiator up top in the Nano S. If you do that you're adding an option for your 3.5" HDD placement's while you prevent yourself from moving towards an Asus Maximus VIII Impact in your build(the daughter power/VRM board gets in the way of the AIO mounting sleds). You have a secondary option to have an AIO/radiator mounting point up at the front of the case. I'd highly recommend going with the prebuilt watercooling solutions made by the hot shots in the watercooling industry like EK/Swiftech. EK have their Predator line while Swiftech have the H220 X2's(Prestige is worth going for due to the Noiseblocker E-Loop fans bundled) line and in both accounts you can add more hardware to the loop. The added benefit with EK's Predator is that they've included a QDC SKU whereby you can add and remove full cover blocked GPU's to the "faux" AIO. If you're yet shaking(in doubt) with the thought then you can look into the NZXT Kraken X61 :) EK's and Swifteck's solutions give you possibility to add any color LED's to the blocks to morph as you swap out hardware+color scheme's. I'll pass on more info if you're interested.

The NZXT Manta would be up your alley though you would need to follow up some user builds as it's new to the market and the last I checked the case caters to all of it's own "in house" hardware like the Kraken's.

If we're yet talking about the Nano S then you'll need to pass on your (intended)full system specs to get a second opinion with clearance's and potential compatibility issues. ITX builds are compact and fun but they have a world of tradeoffs. One of the things asked in an mITX build is to grow into a mind set since it's a compact environment to wrap one's head around.

I picked the Nano S in particular because of the aesthetic and sound dampening inside the case. Also, watercooling will actually be overkill anyway, since I won't be able to overclock as the other mini-ITX motherboards didn't match my color scheme, or had a bad layout. The main reason for having an AIO was a quieter cooling solution, though I also prefer to not have a giant heatsink right in front of my window. 😛

I would only put the radiator in the front since the top vents are not filtered (why haven't they fixed that?). If I can't manage to get a definitive answer, I'll most likely be going with this:

Mostly because of aesthetics and it's a down-facing cooler, rather than a tower. It's also cheap, which is nice.

Sorry if my original post was misleading.
