Then it looks like the printhead is blocked with old ink that has dried out - - so severely blocked that the cleaning routine cannot shift it (which it attempts to do by pumping new ink through it and higher than normal pressure).
This can happen if you don't print a full colour document at least every couple of days, or if you don't run the nozzle check printout every couple of days so that fresh ink pushes out the old ink.
You will have to remove the printhead and try soaking it overnight in warm soapy water, then thoroughly rinse it in clean water, let it dry then put it back in the printer.

Finally, if you are in the habit of using third-party "compatible" ink cartridges, many of them will eventually cause blockage issues because the ink contains impurities. Use only genuine Canon ink cartridges if you want to minimise the risk of it happening again.
