Win 7 home 32bit doesn't see the printer

I have 2 of the HP B/W laserjet P1006 printers. Up to about a few weeks ago the laserjet printers worked fine. Now I have a report to print that is to much for my HP Photosmart plus inkjet printer. I will run out of black ink. I need the B/W laserjet printer working. And I don't know why this laptop won't see the printer. I tested the USB cables by connecting the laserjet printers to my room mates laptop. And both printers work fine. Why won't the laserjet printers work in My laptop. I did try 3 times to uninstall and reinstall the drivers with no luck.

To Motherboard Master. This laptop has 4 USB ports. No go on all 4 ports. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse. I tried the USB plugin for the wireless mouse/keyboard in all 4 USB ports and it works. I also tried my cell phone's USB cable in all 4 ports and I got a good connection in all ports.

Uninstall the drivers and software for both the laserjet and inkjet printers?

Motherboard Master, I went into the windows registry and searched for everything related to "p1006". I found things for the laserjet p1005, p1006 and p1505. I deleted everything pertaining to the laserjet printer. Then I reinstalled the lasted driver setup for the laserjet p106. The install gets to this point see the picture in the link https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B36taVfmx1B0Y3E0U2FTTE9wVms/view?usp=sharing and stops. Win 7 still doesn't see the printer when the printer is plugged in. I also get the following windows error messages after the printer is plugged in. See the next 2 picture links https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B36taVfmx1B0Z0lReXptX1lvNEk/view?usp=sharing and https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B36taVfmx1B0NGl3YU9KeUVxM28/view?usp=sharing I can't figure out why this 2 laserjet printers work in an old Dell laptop OS XP Pro with the same drivers and they won't work in this Acer Aspire laptop OS Win7 Home 32bit which is about 7 to 10 years newer then the old Dell
laptop. It don't make sense to me. And it is driving me batty.
