Hey guys I currently have 2x4GB of Kingston HyperX Fury
This

and would like to upgrade by adding another 2x8GB of Kingston HyperX Fury
Which is this

From the looks of it, the model name is the same, just different sizes? Would this set up work, and would there be any issues with it such as slower speeds?

Solution
First - there's no guarantees when mixing DRAM, even another package of the same exact model. 2nd, if allready running a Fury then you should have a fairly recent mobo from 2011 through today so if Intel there no longer is the syncing mentioned above - that went out with the 775 mobos

Adding more than one modules of RAM is not a problem but its better with one module of RAM. In your case be sure that this two module are compatible to your processor speed. Example in a processor chips if you read this in a processor 2.6 ghz/ 2m/800, meaning you need to install a processor not more than 2gb of bytes and the bandwidth it must be 800Mgz. So check first your processor synchronization to your RAM like what I said. Because RAM capacity will synchronize to the speed of your processor.
