Any way to increase CPU performance WITHOUT overclocking?

Hey forum

So I have a problem: bought a new motherboard but only now realized that there is no option to increase core voltage on this piece of junk.

That means I'm stuck on stock speeds on my i5-2500k. These speeds are not enough for games like Witcher 3 on Ultra 1440p (i have 980ti). I get annoying stutter and Afterburner tells me CPU usage is at around 100%.

So is there any way to increase CPU performance for gaming without overclocking?

Thanks alot for answers

Get a faster CPU or drop settings, no need to run it on Ultra if your CPU can't handle the setting the way you want it to.

Will try unparking, thx. Running Win 7 64 bit.

Motherboard is like Asrock H61M-DGS 2.0 if i remember correctly.

Thanks for answers. I sort of already have accepted my fate. Its a nightmare D;

You will be able to oveclock the CPU a bit before it requires a voltage increase. Try a little overclocking first. You could try upgrading the RAM to a higher speed with lower latencies. Perhaps using an SSD will improve things too.

Mmm i can try oc'ing memory and installing a game or two on my boot drive ssd. Thanks.

And yea and i am able to overclock cpu from 3.3 to 3.7 without the need of voltage increase. But really i need more than that :(
