I just built a gaming PC, AMD FX-6300 6-core processor. ASROCK 970 motherboard. 8gb Ram.
My computer originally had a 32gb ssd just to hold my operating system. That quickly filled up and caused my computer to start running like shit. I cloned my hard drive using Acronis True Image and transfered it to a 120gb SSD. The thing is that my computer and internet is still running like shit. Then I noticed that my computers wireless connection is constantly oscillating between low and medium connection strength. My internet is connected to my PC wirelessly using a USB wifi dongle AND a PCI express adapter, both have weak signals. I can't tell if the power to my USB's is turning on and off (I think this might be the cause because I noticed other ports are losing connection). Or if there is some other problem.
Right now my best guess is that my USBs are losing power, but I can't figure out why. Could it be a driver/software issue causing my usbs to power on and off constantly? a Virus? etc.
My case is a corsair spec-01 red ATX mid tower.

I'm running a unregistered copy of windows 8.1.

You should do that first and get all the windows updates you can, this may well be an issue that was already corrected.

I cloned my drive and had no such issue so that is strange.

After that you said you have a USB dongle and a PCIe wifi adaptor? And you're trying to use both at the same time? You...

When I cloned my hard drive it "lost" its activation. I need to call windows and give them my CD key and tell them I moved my software.
