BIOS Fan speed change?

I have the M3N72-D motherboard with Phenom II 9650 stock fan but for some reason when I try to change the fan speed it shows it as 0rpm and the fan speed options are in grey. Is there something that I have to enable that I'm forgetting?

Is the cooler fan 3-wire of 4-wire? If 3-wire, that may be why. If 4-wire, the fan may have lost its PWM feedback and isn't being seen by BIOS.
Btw, your processor designation above needs some clean up. There is a Phenom X4 9650 and a Phenom II X4 965, but no Phenom II 9650.
