What kind of games can I run on a Dell optiplex 3020. I just got this computer for free and like any old games I could run on this would be great. Thanks runs on Intel I5 and Windows 7

Well, you could have suggested something. Here, I'll try:

Your computer probably only has one PCI slot. Hope that's not filled with a wireless card. Your power supply is a 400 watt or under (usually 300w). There's only two cards you plug and play without changing other parts. So, leaving your computer exactly as it is, you can get a Unique GTX 950 (not any old 950) or a few 750ti. All of the 950's except the ASUS GTX 950 2G-model, require extra power cables. Some of the overclocked 750ti's require extra power cables. The 750ti's are cheaper, and weaker, but will allow you to game at moderate settings on 1080p or lower panels. The 950 is more powerful, and will let you game with more settings turned higher, but will cost more, and to be honest, it was just announced and I couldn't find any for sale. So considering the state of your free 'office' tower, I'd just grab one of these:

and call it 'JOB DONE' until you get money for a new computer.

Then they can disregard the help. But letting them know that their computer can play games with a simple add-in and no parts switching certainly is pertinent information. Give them all the info they need, and let them proceed from there. Since I never addressed the straight up question, Original Poster: Your computer is woefully underpowered to play any game that has an advertising campaign. If you want to get some fun out of a free computer without any investment, I'd suggest some indie titles like:
Don't Starve
Darkest Dungeon
Undertale
FTL: Faster Than Light
Terraria
Starbound
or, the current indie gem, Stardew Valley

Edit: Notice the lack of 3D models? Your Intel HD can't handle them. With a small upgrade, you can play much more. ALL GAMES, even The Division(which came out 3 days ago) can run on 720p-low settings with a 750ti Superclocked.

what card would I have to get to play these games: Skyrim, CSGO, and battlefield 3 or 4

I'm not looking to play new high end games. old-ish games are what Im aiming for. I just want to play something other than like quake ii and unreal tournament 2k4. theyre great games but I would like to delve further forward than that.
