Blocked mini-pcie slot prevents use of Audigy soundcard - any adapters or workarounds?

I have a mini-pcie sound card that works great with my system.... unfortunately, I got a new double-wide video card that completely covers the only mini-pcie slot on my motherboard. The only remaining slot available is a standard PCI slot. Are there any adapters or extenders that will allow me to work around this issue? Any and all solutions welcome!

Well depending on how much space their is between the slot and the graphics card, there are adapters, when you say mini, do you mean x1?
