games run slow on low settings while my specs shloud handle them fine even on hight

hello everyone, as said above some games run slow and have a very large fps drop.
my laptop:
hp pavilion dv7
processor: Intel core i7-2670QM 2.20 GHz
ram: 8 gb
gpu: Radeon HD 6700M
os: windows 10

I've been facing this for forever but just had enough when I installed Arma 3. it runs just fine on my friends laptop which has a bit lower specs. please help

I really know that buddy didn't know what I was thinking when I bought it lol, but actually Arma 3 doesn't require that much, this problem only happens on few games mostly my laptop runs no problem. for instance, I played Metal Gear 5 on this laptop and it ran just fine. Also I know the problem isn't in the game since it ran ok on my friends laptop as mentioned.
