Hello,

I am currently trying to decide between a R9 390, R9 380, GTX 970, or GTX 960 GPU for an upgrade to a 2012 build I did that just isn't cutting it. I'd like to get a few more years out of my existing hardware and currently have a Radeon HD 7750 so any of these will be a big upgrade. I play DOTA 2 and SWTOR mostly with some Planetside 2, Starcraft, and Civ games tossed into the mix every now and then.

The rest of my setup is as follows:

CPU: FX-6300
PSU: Corsair Builder CX600w
MOBO: Gigabyte 970-A-UD3
Case: Corsair Carbide Series 500R with stock cooling fans and an Asetek 510LC Liquid cooling system
RAM: 8GB (2x4gb) DDR3 1600mhz 240 pin Kingston HyperX -- planning on adding another 8GB of Kingston if I can find the same spec RAM for sale 3+ years later
HDD: 2TB Western Digital 7200 RPM 6GB/S harddrive (considering adding a 500GB SSD at some point but don't have the money right now)

I've never overclocked nor am I planning to (don't even know if I can with my current set up). Just looking for the best GPU upgrade without bottlenecking to get a few more years out of my existing hardware before I do a rebuild. I don't have to play on the highest graphical settings but I'd like to future proof for the next 3 years as best I can. Any of the above cards look like they might do the trick on my 600w PSU?

Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

If youre intent on never overclocking the the 960 or 380/380x.
If you would be prepared to overclock even a little (& you should because you have a very good quality board) then the gtx 970.

Buy the gtx 970. If you had a decent 650 watts psu then buying the r9 390 would have been better but currently your corsair cx600 just wont be enough.
So play safe with the gtx 970.
