Help me overclocking my laptop

Hi everyone

i have x450c laptop intel pentium 2117u 1.8 ghz i want to increase it but interl xtreme utility grayed out any solution ? thxx

Not possible and even if it was it would be stupid as hell to do. That laptop is old and pretty bad from the start, just get a new one if you want higher performance.

Laptop cooling solutions are not made for overclocking. Any attempt to overclock will likely result in CPU throttling back and slowing down so it's really pointless. Lastly, you have an Ultra Low Voltage CPU that is not designed to overclock.

i just wanted to increase little bit like 2.2 ghz

It doesn't matter if older pentiums can overclock. You have Ultra Low voltage CPU cannot be overclocked.

No, not possible for you. ANY overclocking will be dangerous, especially if (like you) you don't know what you're doing. When it comes to laptops, it's a hundred times more dangerous and should only be done by experts (and people who like to break their laptops)

Higher voltage = more power. More power = more heat. More heat = dead laptop.

Also, too high of voltage = deal laptop and possible fire

It's very low voltage cpu and has no way to get rid of excess heat from overclocking. Even if you could overclock it will cook the cpu. Your laptop has no GPU and is not made to play games.

i have gpu 720m and i played more games like dishonored high setting i get 40 fps, when i playing my temp get 71-72c . and i have cooler master fan and thermal pad or paste in processor from asus.

and i see in intel web my processor junction will died at 105c
