Hi all, This is my current build which I completed a few days ago. Its up and running:

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/mahdibassam/saved/4RwxFT
CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($189.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($104.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($39.88 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($86.75 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($65.98 @ OutletPC)
Case: Corsair Carbide 400C ATX Mid Tower Case ($84.99 @ Micro Center)
Power Supply: Zalman 550W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($136.99 @ Directron)

Would my PSU be able to handle the R9 390? I have heard alot about the power consumption of the card.

Thanks for any help in advance.

It will run but not recommended. Highly possible that when it hits higher load levels (starts drawing more power) your pc will shut down or BSOD to prevent damage. Recommended r9 390 PSU size is 650W. Also whats with your current PSU? It's a bad psu and yet it costs more than your motherboard?

550W is not enough for R9 390. There is a slim chance that the system will work with that PSU but it's nothing more than a gamble. It's way better to buy a more powerful PSU for system stability and future upgrades.
