I currently have a 550w 80+ bronze PSU from cooler master, which was more than enough for my old build. However below you will see the products of my new PC and I was wondering if it is necessary to have a higher PSU or remain with the same.

GPU: Galax GeForce GTX 970 HOF
CPU: Intel Core i7 4770k 3.5 GHz
MOBO: MSI Z97S SLI KRAIT
SSD/HDD: Crucial MX100 128gb + 1TB Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003
RAM: Kingston HyperX FURY 4x8GB 1866MHz
Cooling: NZXT Kraken X61
Extras: DVD ROM driver + NZXT HUE+.

I ran it through 2 PSU calculators online and both said that my 550w was sufficient, however to be sure I would like to get some professional advise.

A decent 550w can run those specs , but I wouldn't overclock.

If it's a high quality 550w V \ VS series from Cooler Master which are made by Enhance , you can also do some mild overclocking.

A 550W would be made by Enhance , Seasonic only made 700 , 850 , 1000 , 1200w models.

The Enhance units are gold rated. His Bronze rated model is more likely the G, GX or GM series, all of which are not very good quality.
