Solution nukemaster Mar 12, 2016 Check your memory usage. If it is not maxing out, chances are you will no see much difference. When compressing/rendering video the cpu becomes a bottleneck many times.

I have 16GiB of memory in use by my programs right now. It depends on what you're using the computer for. You may do just fine with 2GiB. With how cheap memory is, 8GiB is typically the basic amount to get. Upvote 1 Downvote
