Hi, here are my current specs:
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 (amd chipset)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series 1GB
CPU: AMD FX-6300
RAM: 8GB 2000MHz (2x4 Obscure manufacturer)

{UPGRADING WITH}

GPU: MSI AMD R9 380 4GB
CPU: A corsair liquid cooling unit http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00B4OCWDE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_5&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE FOR OVERCLOCKING
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 2400Mhz
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB 2.5 inch Solid State Drive
Case: Upgrading the stock case fans with these http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00F6S10KK?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

I just want this PC to be able to run new games, video edit, and sound design at a much better capacity. Pretty much a jack of all trades but a master of none. My main concern is whether these parts are all compatible and can run well with my motherboard without any bottlenecks, and whether they will work with a 500W PSU.

Solution
The 16GB RAM is too much for just an FX6300. The 8GB should be fine, but I suggest buying an FX 8320 instead of the water cooler, but still buying a new CPU cooler. Also, less of an SSD or a cheaper SSD would be a good idea as well.

As far as the RAM thing goes, during Prime95, my FX6300 will use about 5.5GB total, and thats the highest RAM test setting. Yay, someone else who accepts Chinchin as their lord and savior! Lol
