Hey all,
As a school project we were given the task to set up a small computer facility of around 20 computers and all other hardware, i.e. storage devices, printers, modems, routers, etc. My main concern is the network of the facility as I have no idea where to start.
What would be the most suitable hardware to purchase for the network and how would it be installed? I know that a modem and a router will be in there but how do they connect to 20 computers? Is connection via Ethernet cable absolutely necessary in this environment?
I'm sorry if the question is a bit broad but that is all I need, just a general overview of how to set up the network and how it would work.
