Is it possible to use two AMD graphics cards in one computer?

I already have a Radeon R9 390 gaming card. I'd like to run an engineering program but it doesn't like gaming cards. So I would like to add a professional grahics card. I have in mind a FirePro W4100 or similar. Is this doable?
System configuration:
OS: Windows 10 pro
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170X-UD5 TH
CPU: I7-6700k
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 4x8 GB
PSU: EVGA 850 B2

I got the feeling he has the 390 for gaming and wants a FirePro W4100 to run workloads that the gaming GPU's drivers do not support. So the 390 is for gaming and the FirePro is for programs that need a Pro card in order to use the GPU to accelerate the workloads. There may be some workloads that can use both cards but most will not.

Thanks utroz and barto. Are your replies about a system that uses multiple displays or can this be done with just one?

It could be done either way I think. But as I don't have any FirePro setups I don't know 100%. I do know that there are some cards for pro work that don't even have video outputs as the GPU is purely for processing data and not used for a display output.
