Ok so I just Built a weak gaming tower with a semi old motherboard and processor. The processor is 3.2ghz quad core amd. Anyways after some ridiculous issues with 4am preventing my setup from booting I finally got it running installed windows 7 and began testing it out. What I found was gaming worked near flawlessly insane fps by my standards I tend to run games at medium on laptops lol. Anyways the fps was averaging 40-60. Or better on high for games like arma and equivalent. However I found the operating system was crawling despite updating all drivers and Windows updates. I had 4gb ram figured some ram could be faulty swapped out to my 2gb stick that I know works fine and still had crawling. I decided to shut my computer down for the night and upon turning it back on in the morning the bios would not boot to the os it took several different troubleshoots to get it to boot. Only to find the os running slower. And my usb devices responding quite weird taking several times of being plugged in until they respond.
So what I need to know is what could cause this? Ram/hard drive? Motherboard? Processor? Or God hating me?
Tl;dr computer bios sucked wouldn't boot eventually booted. Os still sluggish. Gaming runs fantastic. Not sure if ram cpu hdd or God.
