SSD disappears from macbook pro

Hi, I just installed a new SSD (crucial bx200) to my macbook pro mid 2012. It was working fine until I was forced to shutdown my macbook. When it booted, i cannot find my SSD anymore. Help.

If you boot from recovery media (hold down option during poweron) does Disk Utility show the drive present? If so, run Disk First Aid on it. Did you install it very recently or has it been working for a while? Is this the first time you ever shut the system down since it was installed?
