I am not sure what is going on, I have i5 4690k at stock level, and one core runs 100% full load while playing eq2. The game has very low system requirements, it is indeed a cpu heavy game, but shouldn't be that cpu heavy. My temps are going between 35-45c even with that core at 100% never goes above 47c. When I exit the game everything drops down to 1-8% usage. Anyone have a clue what is going on here?

Corsair h50 cooler
Corsair cx600 psu

No, there is nothing to worry about. This is completely normal behaviour for single threaded software. Whatever core Windows assigns the game thread to, will be dedicated to that thread. The OS will not send any other work to that core as long as the other cores remain free. As for the overall load, that should be 25% or slightly above unless you have another CPU...

Should I worry about it, I don't have fps drops, or seem to be having any problems running it, it just was like wth, how could this game run one core that hard, the over all load only goes up to 50%, but that single core goes to 100%

As for the overall load, that should be 25% or slightly above unless you have another CPU intensive task running. One core running at 100% while the others essentially remain at 0% usage only makes 25%.
