hi im looking to overclock my i5 4690k, but have no clue what heatsink to get
Can i get a good oc on a $30-$50 cooler? Or do is a $70 one worth it? I'd like to get an oc to 4.5 ghz max. I dont want a $30 cooler that will have to run like a jet engine to get the job done though

Please help im so lost, thanks!

ensure your towers compatability by checking through ''View Compatible Cases''

i see high o/c expectations, so the H5 is more suited, as long as your tower allows.!

So the Cryorig H5 will get me to 4.5 ghz easier
what kind of oc would i get from the H7? 4.2? 4.3?

And at these overclocks these fans will still be quieter than the stock cooler?

Update:It doesnt show my case for the h5 so it must be too tall

your cpu's o/c abilities are yet to be explored. also depend on the rest of your hardware. you dont know if you can do 4.5ghz .!
i would say H7 for moderate o/c and H5 for moderate to severe. both silent compared to intel stock cooler. for a better comparison know that H7 is a bit beter than cm 212evo
